1. Frequency:
- Kids should be eating (meal or snack) 7-8 times/day
- i.e. multi game tournament days:
- Breakfast + Post-Game Snack + Lunch + Pre-Game Snack + Post-Game Snack + Dinner + Snack (at least 45′ before bed)
2. Fuel Source:
- Each fueling should contain roughly a 50:50 mix of Protein AND Carbs
- Gatorade should NEVER be consumed as packaged or without protein (should be diluted by 50-75% and combined with protein)
